Default V6 to V8 Conversion...

I know there has been some talk about this being done, but the other forums quickly digressed from the question. Is it financially feasable? How much are we talking? I would LOVE to feel the iForce V8 with my manual transmission, but is it possible?

I think it would be possible only if you either replace the V8 computer with a stand alone system or find a piggy back computer that will eliminate the check engine light that you will inevitably get.

It might be worth your while to trade your Tundra in for a V8 model or get the 4-runner with its more advanced and stronger five speed automatic transmission.
