Default H.d. Alternator

Can I upgrade to the heavy duty alternator that was offered in the all weather package without having to upgrade my wiring or anything else?

I don't see why not.

The best way to find out - head to your dealer's parts counter, and get them to pull up part numbers for wiring harnesses and related components. There will be a different part number and notation for the harness if it is different between all-weather and standard. I doubt that it would be, but it won't cost you anything to find out.

i'm pretty sure it's just a simple alternator swap. 'bolt on' mod.
