Tundra Owners, Please call us and become the World's first Dual Transfercase Toyota Tundra!
from their website, my impression is they're looking for a guinea pig. i left them a message and posted on their website, we'll see if they hit me back. since there are several trucks on this site better equipped than mine, i was going to ask if my truck would actually suffice, and if not, then i was going to recommend they talk to joe or tedd, they've got better equipped rigs than mine and have more opportunity to go wheeling.
i suppose it also depends on what other changes would need to be made at the same time.
crikey, if i had a dual t-case with an overall 200:1 ratio, i'd make time! between that and the i-force, i could probably climb a wall!

we'll see if they call back...

I'll arm wrestle for it, but I'm all the way in PA, so I probably don't even have a chance... I did leave a message just in case location wasn't a priority.... In case maybe the t-cases could be installed locally, I'd be a prime candidate b/c my truck is going in for a suspension lift and new rims/tires pretty soon anyway. Oh, well, screwed by location again.
For those who are very interested call Marlin directly at 559-252-7295 for more details. The phone will be busy but keep trying to get through (there is only one phone line). I told Marlin that I'd help spread the word on his new product and I don't have any specific details just yet.
I spoke with Marlin this morning. Nice guy! He told me how this project came to be. Essentially the transmission on the Tun is not too different from the ones on Tacomas, so he thinks that it will be a fairly straight forward install. The project will hopefully begin in earnest soon!
We are gonna hook up this friday as he will be down in my neck of the woods! Lucky me!!! <kissing biceps>
Will keep you all updated with developments.
