We need a little more clarification on the "is it the same problem" part. Same problem as what? If it has been that long since the Throttle Body was cleaned I would imagine it could use another cleaning.

As far as the trouble starting, is it turning slower or does it just crank forever until you stand on the gas? How old are your plugs? There are a few variables here that need to be figured out.

19+ MPG on the Highway at 75 MPH in a DC with a four speed automatic and a bad O2 sensor - not too shabby!

It cranks forever until i stand on the gas. I've never changed the plugs and I've had the car since it was 60,000 miles, now 82,000. Had the timing belt changed at 70,000.

The same problem as before is that it doesn't start unless I am on the gas. Sounds like it wants to turn over but won't unless I'm on the gas. Happens intermittently. Mostly mornings.

I would recommend a general tune-up including new plugs, a Throttle Body cleaning, a MAF cleaning, a bottle of fuel injector cleaner for a couple of tanks of gas, a new air filter, and maybe even a new fuel filter.

Sounds like you should give the vehicle a good going over to check for regular maintenance items that may have not been done by the previous owner. Do a search here on these topics and you will find a wealth of knowledge - especially in the DIY sections.
