Default Ebay Headers, Intake and Y-Pipe

Have you guys seen the Stone Mountain Headers, Y-Pipe and FIPK Clone intake on ebay that SSautochrome is selling?

If not, go to ebay's site and do a couple of searchs for "tundra headers" or "tundra fipk" and you'll see what I'm talking about.

I got a quote from this guy that blew my mind in regards to getting all 3 items shipped to my door - CHEAP! My question is - what do you guys think of these items?

The quality looks pretty good, but so far I don't know of anyone here on the forums that has installed any of the above items. If I got the headers I'd sent them and the Y-Pipe off to be Jethot coated inside and out. The intake is a little flashy, but I can live with that.

Well if you have any input - I'm eager to hear from you.

Thanks.

If I remember correctly, and this is based on comments made here, but I remember someone mentioning that the Stone Moutain headers were not C.A.R.B. certified. Therefore, you might be taking a risk installing them if they're not EPA approved.

Default SS Autochrome Stuff

I have the headers installed and the Y pipe is sitting in the garage for when I get a minute and a welder - it is not bolt on. See some of my comments rom the install and performance.

SSAutochrome Headers Installed - Great!!

Update - headers flow at about 3K. If you really get on it, you'll get a little lag when the tranny shifts because it takes you out of the optimum flow RPM. The construction is first class on the headers as is the Y pipe. They are very close to the JBA's except they DO NOT have the fire cone partition that JBA does. They are a short tube headers and as expected, the optimum flow rate is too high on the powercurve (RPM scale) for a truck unless you are looking at top speed. I'm hoping the Y pipe will lessen the shift anomaly a little. Agreed that there is a significant performance increase. Gripe - I have an O2 sensor that has gone south after the install even with being super careful with them.

Cheers,
bomber

The Stone Mountain headers have 1-5/8" primaries and the JBA have 1-1/2" primaries too.
