hey guys, their current ebay auctions state, " CHECK OUT THE FLANGE - ALSO NOTE THE PROPER O2 POSITIONING"

I wonder if they've actually changed the bung or if they're just full of steam? To those who've bought and installed the headers...does it look correct to you?

On JBA's, the instructions tell you to just bend the bracket a bit for the shift cable. See my picture below. I don't have any wrap on my headers. I did leave the one heat shield in place below the LH header and near the side of the block.

See my previous posts with the bung holes, the Y pipe and conversation with SS Autochrome. You can also look at my pictures and see the passenger side O2 Sensor and how close it is. I've already covered much what is being talked about in previous posts.

Below is a copy of an email Autochrome just sent me. They have redeveloped the passenger side header with the O2 bung relocated about 20 degrees. This should allow the O2 sensor to angle along the tranny allowing removal for service. Great response from a company I would say. Check out the pic of the redeveloped header.

"Dear Mr. Wagner,
We have made a set of the Tundra with the Bung location as you requested.

How does this location look for you?

Could you please let me know?"

Hey guys, I emailed ssautochrome about when the new deesign would be available. They emailed me back very fast, which is impressive...this is what they said....

*Hello

*The New Tundra Headers will be out in Mid to late October.

*We are finalizing drawings, test fitment, etc....

*Please pass this to your forum members.

*Thanks!

So there you have it! I guess i'll wait a while to order them, even though my RH manifold is cracked. GRRR

I have had the SS Autochrome headers sitting in my living room for about a month now. Just haven't had the time or help to put them on. And I just went and ordered a body lift today. Now, anyone want to drive to Bossier City, LA and help me put them on? I got a futon and beer.

Clay

however, my taste for LA has soured since living on Grand Isle for 3 years. Too hot for me right now.

Im intrested in headers, But are the SS autochrome headers worth it? Or am I better off with the JBA's?

Default spiffy

Bang for buck man. The SS's are JBA knock offs, for 1/3 the money. The y-pipe too.
