Default Click noise from rear end

I searched the site and didn't find anyting that fit this so I figured I'd post it so someone could give me some insight.
I have an 03 Tundra 4X4 Access Cab with 13,000 Miles on it. Lately I have noticed a click noise come from the rear end (particularly the Left Rear Wheel as far as I can tell) when I hit a bump, or go over a series of fairly significant bumps. It sounds like a metal on metal click, not click"ing" like a baseball card in the spokes, but a single event when my wheel rises as I strike a bump.
I have taken off the tailgate and the spare tire and the click still happens. I went in the bed and bounced the truck up and down and I heard a noise that is very close (if not it) to the one I hear when I hit bumps, I looked under when my friend bounced the truck and the noise came from the universal joint at the rear bell housing. I thought that might be it, but when I drove it again it just sounds like something else, and I didn't know why it would click even when torque is being applied to the drive shaft. I would think it would keep it tight with pressure applied.
I had it checked at the dealer and they said they checked everything and nothing was loose and they didn't know what it was. If I hit a speed bump even at 15 mph with my right wheels I dont' hear it, but when I hit it with the left wheels I hear it. Which leaves me to believe it is just on my left rear wheel. I thought it might be a leaf spring connecting with another leaf spring or something down there but I'm just not sure.
Sorry for the book, I can't remember if I left anything out, ANY suggestions would be greatly appreciated, even if they are not the cause I would like to try everything. Thanks, Jack

Default Isolated the Source

Ok, I think I found where it was coming from. It seems to click at the drive shaft near the rear bell housing; there is a sleeve that it slides into and out of as it adjusts to the suspension and it clicks as part of the drive shaft slides into the sleeve. Can this be greased? it seems to me if you grease it, then it will just attract dirt and jam it into the sleeve. I believe this is the problem. Please throw me some input if you have some. Thanks- Jack

Sounds like you are describing the sleeve yolk. It should be lubed every 5k miles or so. See INFO: Tundra Propeller/Drive Shaft Maintenance
