I have about 45,000 on my TRD supercharger (2000 Tundra) and all seems to be going well. I have had some leakage of the silicone grease but a Toyota Bulletin notes its not a problem. The unit is not serviceable. Anyone out there have any high mileage superchargers with any problems?
thanks

What are they saying is not service-able? If its the oil inside you can change it out by pulling the plug on the right-hand side, taking a syringe (only way) unless you take the supercharger completely off the truck. Then take throttle body off, all the 10.9 grade flange bolts, the top plenum off, then pulling the snout, etc.
If you say yours has leaked some , find out how much the supercharger snout holds.

Your problem is that TRD doesn't make a supercharger for the 4.7 engine.

TRD hasn't made a SC for the 4.7 since the motor switched over to VVTi and they changed the catalytic converter over to a 2 stage and had to add an air injection pump at the plenum. They did make them for the 4.7 up through 2003 (or maybe 2004), you can still find them online, and yes, if you know the right people they can be serviced.

That kinda explains it, doesn't it.
Thanks, Chris.
The cost of supercharging will buy me a lot of petrol, and since it won't improve my MPG I guess I won't be going that route.

If you S/C, you'll also have to start running Premium fuel instead of Regular. That will add a few more bucks to each fill-up.
