Does anyone have a date as to when the v8 s/c is coming out? I heard march but haven't heard anyhting since I called trd last and that was almost a month ago. I got to know soon cause I may trade in my truck and the trd s/c would help me to change the decision.Any help Steve ?
Price expected w/ Supercharger and IVan Stewart package
How much is the Tundra Limited and SR5. the damn toyota build your own sucks, so can you guys give me a base. And how much is the Ivan Stewart package w/ wheels and tires. Also what do you guys think the supercharger will be (price wise) and when is it comming.
So do you guys think the 2003 is going to have a new V8 , and if so are they going to have more power.
Also is everyone sure they are going to make a supercharger for a Tundra, and how much hp is it going to give. Some say 340 and some say 280, which would be a waste of money for only 35.
the tundra v8 will have a super charger diffently by summer...this will add 100 hp and i think a 4 psi boost. talk to steve g. at the friendly carson toyota he has all the info you need.

my understanding is much more HP(lb/ft. torque) at much lower revs than the stock motor alone. I saw stats on the V6 s/c saying the s/c generates as much torque at 1800 rpms as the stock motor does at red line.
Does more torque translate into more speed off the line?(what I am looking for) I would definitely think so. We are seeing estimates of an increase of about 80hp.
I am sure some of the gearheads at TS know all of the advantages of supercharging, particularly the ones who have the s/c on their V6 Tundras today..........
