Default Tundra Starting Problem - TSB Covered??

I have a 2001 Limited Toyota Tundra with intermittent starting problems since it was purchased. It will always start, but sometimes it takes 3-4 times to get the engine to turn over. It does crank, but the engine just doesn't fire.

Is there anyone else with this problem, and if so, were you able to get it repaired under the August 30th, 2002 TSB on the "2UZ-FE Engine No Start Condition" EG016-02?

Thanks for your help!!

are you still under warranty? if so, they will cover it. if they can reproduce it, then they should have no trouble fixing it. but if it is so intermittent that they can never make it happen at the toyota dealership, then it might take a long while before it is fixed.

Yep, still under warranty since I'm only at 28K miles. Unfortunately, I've already brought it in about 4 times, and they've never been able to reproduce the problem. I'm hoping that someone else had this same issue and got it resolved. These guys at the dealership just don't seem to believe what I'm saying!

Have you cleaned your throttle body, yet?
It fixed my "hard start" problem.
