I’m curious to find out how many people have experienced low-end torque loss with a dual exhaust so I’m starting a pole to find out. Please be as honest as possible and don’t skew the results. All you have to do is anonymously vote and not post and the results will show. I’ve personally experienced a loss when trying duals but what I had was an after cat exhaust system.
I want to know if you experienced a low-end torque loss in the 500-2500 RPM range. I’ll have a pole for true duals and one into two after cat duals like the TRD dual exhaust.
I'll assume that the duals pipes are no larger than 2.25" and if they are than please post what you have.
Thanks very much!
I know this isn't as accurate as a dyno so take it lightly!

Originally posted by openspaces I have the bassani dual with X pipe muffler. Is this a votable system for your survey?
I know there was some discussion as to whether this was a true dual, or not. (this sytem removes the y pipe).
I'm not sure how that system is set up but if the only place were the two side’s meet is in the muffler than yes it's a true dual system, if there is a factory y-pipe than it's a one into two systems. The pipe size should be 2-1/4” or smaller.
