I dont have the dimm lights at idle but I have the towing package with the hd alternator... and it seems to work with the JBA really good, I feel like I have a "mini" version of the TRD S/C ...strong low end, good pulling all the way, very happy with it Now I wonder if the addtion of spintech or the TRD cat back would help some more? Still have the stock catback on right now with the stock air box/filter.

Anyone else have UP with their Sequoia?

Frank.

PhillySequoia,

I'll bet you that you have a smaller alternator pulley to pull a few more amps then us. The Sequoia's have more in the way of accessories then the Tundra and a smaller alt pulley on the same alternator could be the difference. I don't remember seeing any other Sequoia's doing this mod, and you used the exact same belt that worked for me.

Glad to hear it all worked out though.

Kevin

That could be the only reason now that you mentioned it. Im happy since it seems to work real well with the JBA's.

BTW.....do you still have the TRD sticker for the billet plate Kev? PM me when you can.

Thanks again.

Frank.

Hey Frank,

Yep, Kevin still has these. Check here at the bottom of the page:

http://www.ppdbillet.com/plates_accessories.html

I was poking around ebay and these same emblems sell for $10 and up. So, $8 (including shipping!) is an excellent price! I have one and it really makes the Throtlle Body cover look good. Now I can swap back and forth from 4.7 to TRD...cool!

I ordered one a week and half ago and was told at that time that they would not have any for 2 weeks. You may want to get your order in now to see what they tell you. May only be a few days by now.

Default ASPracing.

I just called ASP since I will be in Houston on Business this week. They said they have a new shipment coming in or Thursday. They offered to give me a tour of the facilities.

I figured I would avoid the hassle everyone has gone through by driving up to their door!

Default Installed pulley

I installed the pulley on Saturday. I have gained some of the low end that I lost with the intake mod and the Flowmaster. Also noticed that the cruise runs smoother (trani does not shift back and forth as much).

Good Mod in my opinion.

Hey there...got your PM and will reply soon.

Re the Underdrive pulley, it's a replacement for the stock crank pulley (aka "harmonic balancer", even though it really isn't one, but let's not go there!) at the front of the engine. I have a pic of it here, along with links in the Description as to where to purchase it and another thread here on TS...

Seee-ya,

Jim.

Sequoia has a smaller a/c pulley. Alt pulley is the same.
Sequoia and non a/c tundra use the same belt.
