Post Wish List for TRD to correct

Ok... I was thnking about what I would wanna see changed, and figured that we all need to be in on this one.... so... here is an attempt to creat that list.

1. REPLACEMENT ECU, not a piggyback unit.
2. PROGRAMMABLE ECU
3. Full KIT, not just the blower... Tranny, ECU, fuel and BLOWER as a MATCHED kit.
4. Replace the interpolation MAF with a MAP or FIXED VOLUME MAF.

Ok... I have vented... anyone?

YES... it is a CAMRY....

I agree...the ECU and the ninth injector is a problem ( and now the 03's have a 9th and 10th injector??)...They should instead offer bigger injectors and a new "chip" for the ECU, with options to purchase more agressive chips (from say SuperChips or PSP)...No so sure about the tranny unless it came installed from the factory, I'd prefer to beef up the stock one myself (as there will more than likely need to be work done anyway, ie shift kit)...I believe as more of an aftermarket demad rises for these items, more options will become available and prices will go down...

The 9th and 10th injectors only attest to the fact that the stock system is WAY under powered for the task at hand.
Also, for the tranny, I mean a better shift map and a new, reworked valvebody which will remove a lot of the slop in the shifts (firm it up) and stiffer springs (quicker shifts) and more clamping pressure (to hold after the shift).
Yes.. if enough people complain and ask, something will be done.. I hope.
I am willing to pay for a full kit.

They could just put all this stuff on at the factory. Call it the Tundra Ice Storm or something like Ford Lightning. Charge about $50K sticker price.

How about you ditch the I-force motor and put a juiced LS1 in it’s place!

Well... that is one way to do it... Toyota came out with the T3 edition... Great graphics and style, but same ole guts.
Now, do the mods listed here... AND a T3 package....
