Default OTTO Cold Air Intake

Hi,

I have an 03 V8, and was offered an Otto Cold Air Intake for $50.00 so long as I have it installed and agree to take it back to the dealer so that they can take pics of it. Do any of you think I should take it? Thanks
-Rick

Default Otto

yes. a reusable air filter would cost at least that much. if it doesn't work, you could always sell it on ebay.

Is this the Otto intake?
http://www.procarparts.com/product/T...-XX47-AISX.JPG

It looks just like the intake systems you find on ebay, either as SS Autochrome or RG Racing. It's probably made by the same overseas company then rebadged.
But for $50 you really have nothing to lose, especially if it comes with both air filters and the valve cover breather. Is the guy willing to sell another for $50? I'll take one heheh

Hey Ed,
Yea, I'm pretty sure it's the same one you saw on ebay. I don't think I could get another for that cheap, because the deal was to have me go back, so they could take photo's of it. Sorry. PM me, if you are really really serious though, and I could ask. Thanks

Default update

the OTTO intake does not fit the 03. hoses/fittings are different sizes. i returned it to the vendor.

with all the dust/ash in SoCal lately, i replaced my air filter with a Hastings stock replacement.
