Torque sticks are a great addition to your impact whether it be air or electric. Remember though you need a stick for each torque and nut size. I only use an impact to REMOVE my wheels.

I prefer the ratchet type torque wrench. Presently I am using a Snap-On. There are many other brands that perform equally as well.

With an adjustable torque wrench you can torque your wheels in two steps. Let's say the desired final torque setting is 90 ft-lb. Torque all nuts to 70 and then retorque to 90. It's the most accurate. Then re-torque your wheels again to the final setting after about 25 miles of driving. I have used this method beginning with my 1985 4_Runner. It hasn't failed me yet !!

Please inform me about Torque sticks.
Where can I puchase them?
Do they come in sets?
How much$$ do they cost?
I'm 300 miles away from a tire rotation.
Any help would be great.
Thanks
Rich
