I've also heard that the Toyota coolant protects against corrosion within the aluminum radiator. Not all coolants protect against the corrosion, so try to find one that does and does not have "sand" in it.

The red Toyota coolant is silicate-free (sand).If you plan on doing a flush,make sure it's silicate-free if you don't use the factory coolant.
