I would also like to put electrial fans on my truck.

I dont know about any applications yet but would prefer dual fans mounting in a shroud to cover as much radiator as possible.

If you run across something that will work send me a PM

Thanks ...............Tundraholic

I do like the thermal switch option. Have you heard anything about a availability date on the Toyota model??

The Fluidynes mounts to the radiator itself, by the use of a fastening system that actually goes thru the fins to the front of the radiator.

I too am looking for an electric fan but prefer a bolt-on package.

I am very close to doing this. Check out this site: Fluidyne. they have some nice units w/ universal mounts. I think that a combination of a 16" and a 9" would do the trick. Our radiator is about 27" wide and the more surface area covered by the fan(s) the better. It will be a ltlle less than $300 for both fans, plus install time.

Hi,

Anyone replaced their stock V8 fan with an electric fan? The stock fan works fine, but it roars when engaged and is a noticeable drag on the engine.
