The downdrafts might have a slight problem with emissions......
So the Ironman engine for street use might have to be slightly detuned.

Ever so slightly.

Good question, man. I do know that the Toyo boys are racing 5.0's at the moment. I know because i read their TRD advertisments that claim this. So, I expect a 5.0. Remember when Ivan was racing a v8 engine before the Tundra and 4.7 v8 was even produced? I think Ivan was racing the 4.7. Weve gone from a Lexus/Toyo - 4.0, to a 4.3, to a 4.7 and to a ?. Also, we should not forget the S/C, because that's an easy 300+hp, right? Toyo has many routes for world domination. I hope we see more engine choices - but i like the limited option packages and u get what they got though others don't

With all the talk of the new Tundra engine plant in Alabama and a new larger V8 possibly on the way, will the 4.7 continue or will the new engine replace it entirely?
