Angry A.D.D. Actuator

I've finally got the dreaded ADD Actuator problem on my 2000 Tundra. Course it is 2000 miles over the 36,000 mile warranty and the dealer says it's not covered under the powertrain warranty as it's " not an internal problem,it's electrical". I tried telling him what I know about these going bad on the 2000 Tundras but he won't listen. I've left a message for the district rep but he's ignoring me I think. Anyway, I purchased an actuator from an online dealer (much cheaper than the dealer wanted) and plan to install it myself. Anybody do one of these and are they an easy R&R? Thanks...

send a private message to "JeffD", he just did an r&r on parts of his mechanism, there's a currently active thread on it.
