Default VSC - Limited Slip - 4 Wheel Drive question

Looking for someone who understand the manual. I have a 2004 4 wheel drive Tundra with VSC. I have searched the site for an answer, but none of them explained this drive train to me effectivly. Question is, if I am in 4 Hi and then shift into 2 or L do I then have the use of the computer braking to give me AWD during acceleration and deceleration? Does this work in the 2 wheel drive mode? If so what do I need the auto limited slip differential button for? Does it just give me the funtion of limited slip in the Drive (not 2 or L) mode? If you understand the system please explain it to me. Thanks for your time.

Default Explanation of VSC, A-TRAC, Auto LSD, etc.

Check 'The Book Shelf' forum under '2004 Tundra New Features'. Then Click on Break Control System (ABS with EBD.....). This is the best explanation I've seen so far on VSC and A-TRAC.
