I will try and get the Primrose injector perfector on the web site hopefully over the weekend. On my last highway trip I averaged 20.1 mpg on the computer indicator on my Sequoia, which worked out to a 'real' 19.4, which is nearly 2 mpg over my previous.. An interesting aspect is that the cleaner really does give the complete fuel and exhaust system an enima; I have a large, very black patch on my driveway now where the exhaust of my Sequoia hits. The Primrose engineer I spoke with indicated that opposed to other injector cleaners which burn up in the combusion process, the Primrose cleaner continues its action on through the exhaust ports, converter, exhaust system. Now I need a cleaner to get the black carbonacious stain off my cement!
Willing to share at my cost (4.10/bottle+CA tax+shipping); won't see total invoice with shipping costs until product arrives. Case of 24 should arrive mid-next week.
Would be interesting to see results of several members, sales literature makes this out to be a pretty good product. Figured couldn't hurt and about the same price as other quality cleaners
Case (24 bottles) of Primrose 406 Injector Cleaner arrived today. My cost (Standard Quoted Price) with CA tax and shipping $5.01/bottle ($120.29 total) direct from Primrose:

I've PM'd several members who contacted me expressing interest in a few bottles at my cost. Be interesting to get several opinions from other TS members and see if this stuff is any good.
If this stuff is as good as the literature and GEORGESEQ commented maybe we could coordiante a multi-case discount buy for ourselves. Haven't been able to locate any Primrose product available in San Diego or LA area yet.
I worked at one time in the chemical industry from what I remember petroleum products break down rather quickly, you may want to check on the expected lifespan of the product.
http://www.avlube.com/ does now have the Primrose injector cleaner (Injector Perfector) on line with a 6 bottle minimum purchase.
And yes, I too am anxious to hear other feedback on the Primrose performance.

George,
From your informed posts on this board, I've come to respect your opinions. This Primose stuff sounds pretty darn good! I assume you use one bottle per tank of gas. How often do you use it on a maintenance basis and what sort of purgative measures would you recommend for a never-cleaned fuel system in a Tundra with 25,000 miles?
Thanks...
I bought three bottles of Primrose from Woody this past weekend. (Thanks Woody...it was great to meet you and your wife!)
I'll post again as soon as I add this stuff and tell you what I notice. I have 25k miles on my truck. I'm anxious to find out if I will notice a difference (maybe gas mileage when this stuff is in the tank? I hope!) The bottle says it can be added to a tank of up to 20 gallons of gas and then a few ounces (3 I think) per fill-up or the entire bottle at every oil change.
I will be changing my oil in about a week so I will be adding it then. I'm also waiting on a Super Magnet drain plug to arrive by UPS before I change the oil also.
Andy

Regarding usage rate. Initially I put in one 12 ounce bottle then filled the tank. Now I am using approximately 3 ounces per tank, as per Primrose's recommendation.

I assume you are referring to the throttle body part of the injection system not being clean. I haven't cleaned mine yet, but from the looks of things, it's the crankcase ventilation system that is causing the gunk to build up around the throttle body (oil vapor from the crankcase breather hose enters the intake tube between the MAF sensor and throttle body). No amount of injector cleaner in your tank is going to have any effect on this. That will likely just require periodic removal of the intake tube and manual cleaning of the throttle body and butterfly with a good solvent. I typically use Berryman's B12 Chemtool Carb and Choke spray cleaner for this type of cleaning chore - it works really good at dissolving varnish and such on motorcycle and other small engine carburetors. And it is relatively inexpensive at Wal-Mart.
Background, Experience and Impressions with Primrose 406 Injector Cleaner.
Over 70K on my Toy in 20 months. Normally average 800 miles per week at 60-85 MPH in the SoCal (LA, SD, Yuma) Area freeways and mountains. Every 4-4.5K: Change the oil, Mobile 1, adding a bottle of Injector Cleaner (Chevron Techron or STP) to the next tank of fuel and rotate tires. Change the Differential, Mobile 1, every 20K.
During the 2 weeks prior to using Primrose, 5 tanks of fuel averaged 16.6 mpg. On 5/1 and 5/4 added a bottle of Primrose to each fill-up and averaging 17.4 mpg, almost a 1 mpg increase. Current tank has 3 oz of Primrose per their recommendations. Fuel costs averaged $1.68 and the Primrose at $5.01($4.10+ CA tax and shipping), shows better than breakeven. Ergo, $$s saved due to better fuel economy, efficiency and probably a better system over the long haul.
Can't say I noticed any real difference other than measured MPG increase. Did not notice any discoloration under the exhaust as reported elsewhere in this thread; but wouldn't expect to see anything as I normally start up and am on the move within 30 seconds. No need to really warm up the engine since I have a slow trip, 5-10 minutes, to the freeway depending on which way I go. However, I did notice a slight change in the "odor" from the exhaust, must be some byproduct going through the exhaust and Cat-converter.
Will report follow up after a couple of weeks use.

You know, that makes sense. I hadn't replaced the pcv valve when I did my 30,000 so I didn't notice where the other end of the hose went but that would make sense as to why the throttle body gets so dirty. I've never seen anything like it before.
It's normal to get buildup in there, but not that much.
Too, though that might be a way to inect cleaner into the system to clean the upper manifold. Close off the pcv line and inject cleaner in there.
I'll have to look at that. Otherwise it's just a matter of cleaning the throttle body manually at least once year.
