Quite a few have. End result, don't mess with it and just buy an aftermarket filter, TRD or K&N.

Cool man!!! Thanks a lot 7.62mm!!! I have one more question? In the instructions it says to get a high air flow filter. I was wondering if the TRD air filter is worth the extra $20 compared to the K&N filter? My friend with the taco has a amsoil filter installed will that work well with a tundra?

Hey there, Mr. RAPS here! I believe the TRD filter is really a rebadged K&N...same difference. I've heard good things about amsoil filters and also True Flow. Do a search to read more and if you have any questions re the RAPS, shoot me a PM...

Seee-ya!

Jim.
