Default 3.4 V6 Nos Question

I am looking into adding a NOS kit to my 3.4 v6 tundra. Can I run a dry kit? if so how big of a shot can I run before I have to switch for a wet kit.

Im an no expert on Nitrous but from what I have heard with either wet or dry you cannot necessarily run a bigger shot with one or the other. A dry kit injects nitrous alone into the air intake while a wet kit injects both nitrous and fuel. The biggest shot of nitrous for the V6 would be a 65 shot I think without having to worry about timing retard and what not. I would look at some nitrous pages to see what the recommended amount is for a V6 engine.

Go with NX stage 1 wet kit and don't go above a 75shot. but have a Air/Fule gage to see how your engine is reacting.

I would run ZEX... i heard it is the most user friendly and the best bang for your buck...Isnt NX really expensive?

A NX Stage 1 kit will run around $450-600.00 depending where you shop. And NX is quality stuff there nozzel systems are more accurate than ZEX. If you look at other forums you will see that a lot of people run NX over ZEX, but thats just my opinion remember you get what you pay for.

The ZEX wet kit (I don't know about the dry kit) comes with a nitrous management unit. It shuts off the nitrous and fuel incase one or the other runs out. It's simply a safe guard for your motor and no other nitrous system has that.
I paid $680 for the basic kit and that is more than you will pay for the other N2O systems. But I wanted the best and safest system for my truck.
