Default sensor problem

I have a 2000 tundra V8 and in the cold weather it will start fine and within 10 seconds it will stall. When I restart it will start fine, but the engine light
is now on. I will then drive down the road and within 2-3 miles the the gas pedal will not respond. It's like putting the truck into neutral, but it's in drive. I get no power. I can floor the pedal and it just idles at a low RPM. I pull over and shut it down and restart. Starts up fine runs good, but engine light is still on. This only happens in very cold weather (0-15 degrees). The engine light eventually goes off?????????

Whats your truck's mileage?

Sounds like a transmission problem to me, although I could be wrong..

Also, an MIL (Engine check light) can mean more than one thing. You need to get your code read at Autozone or something. I'm sure other members can help you here on that one. Try PM'ing nhparrot, he can help you too.

Could be a Fuel pump control circuit problem. Get the MIL code read, that will help narrow down the problem.
