Angry Check engine light problem

I purchased a 2001 Sequoia 4wd, which had some transmission problem when shifting into 2nd gear. After having it fixed (changed some disks) a check engine light came on. The mechanic had inspected everything necessary but didn't find any apparent fault. He tried to reset the memory unconnecting battery and leaving for 30 min but didn't work. Can there be a problem with ECU memory or somekind of fault. Because after the transmission fix there is no gas pumping into the engine, eventhough it has started. I'm now thinking of buying a new ECU. Since I don't leave in the States I cannot take it to the dealer and bought it on the internet without inspecting, a big mistake.

Did the mechanic try reading the codes?? If there is a check engine light then the ECU will generate codes specific to the problem. I wouldn't go buying another ECU until the codes have been read properly.

I had it tested and the codes were C12, C13 and C14 that read as "Check ECU". The mechanic also said he'd inspected all sensors there could be and followed every direction in the owner's manual. It seems the option I left with is pretty clear, just wanted to know anything else that might be helpful. Tnx

I have never seen a dtc that is not at least a letter followed by 4 digits. Are you sure of those codes?
