Default O2 Sensor w/ JBA Headers

A few months ago I decided to go with JBA Headers and the stock exhaust. I didn't want to loose my low end torque since I pull a 5400 lb boat. Prior to the installation of the headers I had one of my O2 sensors go and it was replaced under the extended warranty. After the headers were installed, about a week the MIL light went on. I hooked up my OBDII diagnostics and found the other O2 sensor went. Maybe it was a result of mis handling when the headers were installed or it was just coincidence.

So my question is has anyone had to have an O2 sensor replaced with headers installed get any hassle from Toyota? Or have them tell you that having the headers installed caused the O2 sensor to go bad? I would rather replace the O2 sensor myself then take it to Toyota and have them give me the run around only in the end having to pay 2 or 3 times of what it would cost me to do myself.

Thanks,
Glenn

You probably already know that Toyota now warrants the #1 sensors for 7 years or 90K miles. I have JBA's too and if mine fail, I will probably replace them myself and try to get Toyota to reimburse me for the cost of the sensors. They should be happy to do it, because it would cost them less than if they did it. Another idea might be to talk to the service manager to see if they would run the paper work for a claim, and just give you the new sensor and then you return the old one to them.
