Default Differential Drop

This weekend I'm going to be putting on the cornfed front spacers. I ordered the spacers and differential drop seperately and I was wondering if I should wait until the drop got here to install the spacers? Would it hurt the CV joints to run a week or two without the drop? I would like to install the lift as soon as possible, but not at the expense of my front diff. Thanks for any help.
