Look on the rear differential and it should have a little sticker like THIS on it.

Well, my first attempt at figuring out if I had LSD proved to be pretty fun...

But I wised up and looked underneath the rear end...

Edit - it appears as I was replying, a couple TSers helped you out already

If your truck does this, then you probably have LSD

yeah, it's a video I made a while ago of my truck doing a burnout... odd that you can't see the video - maybe a firewall problem???

PM sent about photos.

Back to the subject, only TRDs have LSD. Standard ACs don't?
All those acronyms.

As far as I know the SL and the TRD are two separate items on the window sticker and two separate letter codes, the TRD package does not include a LS. That being said, I don't know how many non-TRD trucks were built with the LS. All of the TRD trucks I saw when I bought my '03 Tundra had the limited slip also.

Would be very rare, the LSD was not available onthe 2001 until very late in the model year, became a generally available option for 2002. The TRD option did not include a LSD it was a seperate standalone option (option code LS)
