Default Supercharger

I have a 2000 Toyota Tundra 4.7 V8, and I want to supercharge it. What kind of superchargers can I get besides the TRD?????

None. Unless you want a turbocharger from SOS.

This is a new one. Has an intercooler, but as far as I know it is still in the testing stages. Contact them for some more info. They said they would send me pictures of the test truck but nothing has come through yet.

STS is around 5k I believe. Don't quote me. I still think TRD is probably the way to go... Gotta find one first though

yeah but look at what the TRD was going for!!! especially after all the extras that needed to be done to make it work right. I think running an intercooled setup is the way to go. I just cant wait till there is a diesel option for the tundra....theres something about a pumped up boosted diesel.

$5299.

For that I could get a nice chevy ZZ crate engine for a project car. I could buy a used Honda civic.

oh ya, that's the special introductory price. So does that mean it will get more expensive?

A TRD Charger isn't that much less... A new one used to run about 4-5k...

After reading the info on the SOS setup, it's a supercharger rather than a turbocharger. So, there is an alternative to the TRD one. As far as turbochargers, STS is the only right now that makes a kit.

For $5299.00, good lawd that's a lot of money.

SOS - $5299
TRD - $4500
STS - $3995

These are the MSRP. STS put out more power for the money.
