Default SB swap?

With all of the threads going on lately about superchargers has got me thinking. Has anyone swapped out the 4.7 for another engine, say a SB Chevy? I would think that even after all of the involved fitting and what not that you would still come out ahead of a TRD supercharger. However whether or not you would have the same HP is up for grabs, but as most of you know, some serious HP can be had out of those crate engines with very little work. One last thing, the reliability would probably go out the door.

It has been discussed here before but with not much support.

Default Why?

I have read MANY posts on this topic, and still do not "get it". If I were to purchase a crate motor... then it would be going into a vehicle that would accept it with little or no modifications. It just seems to me to defeat all claims of Toyota reliaibility. Plus, lets face it... one purchases a Tundra KNOWING that your resale value is THERE. It is like money in the bank in comparison to others. Why would you monkey with that? NOx, Turbo and Supercharging are available.

Just my .02
