Default Limited slip diff. noise and vibr when turning

I have the limited slip rear and it works fine when cold, but after 15 min. it make noise and vibrates alot when turning below 10mph. It's fine when going straight of course. I'm not sure if the clutches can be warped or not. The limited slip action still works. It almost feels as if the clutches are working to much, but it's definately not a smooth action. Does anyone know anything about this?

How new is the gear oil? I'd change the gear oil and put in a gear oil which already contains the limited slip additive. If it still chatters, I'd add a partial tube of LS additive at a time, giving it plenty of time to work into the clutches.

I like a synthetic 75W-90 gear oil...Mobil 1 is one very good brand.

I bought the diff. used and it's only been in the truck for 3 days. It supposedly only had 18k miles on it. It was covered in cardboard fuzz when I got it so my mechanic used a ton of break cleaner on it. It looked real good after that. It was put with some type of GL-5 gear oil which I hear is lsd compatible. Added 7 ouces of Powertrax LSD additive this morning and it's almost perfect now. I knew toyota said it wasn't required, but it seems a few still need it after thier first fluid change. Thanks
