Question high idle after TB cleaning

Hey guys,

Following the throttle body cleaning instructions found on the site, I am experiencing a high idle now. I took it for a ride around the block and came back home to find my idle in park at 1k - 1200 rpm's.

I also replaced the air filter while I was in there and the PCV valve too.

Will the computer adjust eventually?

Thanks

It won't take long for it to get back to normal

Yep, My truck did the same thing for a while but it eventually settled down. I drove mine around for awhile to clean it all out.

To avoid this just disconnect the battery when your doing it. It will still idle a little higher, but will come back to normal quicker.
