Default Need Help w/ Clutch Interlock Travel

I know it's more of a legal issue than design issue.

The clutch disengages when the pedal is pressed about 1-2".

But in order to start the engine the pedal needs to be all the way down.

The interlock switch is not adjustable but is there a way to start the engine with the pedal 2/3 way down instead of the longish all the way?

Just go under the dash and unplug the connection. Take a paperclip and put it in the 2 terminals so its jumpered. Wrap it up with plenty of electrical tape. Now you never need to press the clutch again to start!

Clutch interlock does not bother me since I often park in 1 or R. I just don't like the idea of pressing the pedal all the way down when start.

Perhaps an interlock cancel switch like 4WD model will do the job.
