Installed mines today, this maybe the perfect match for the tundra. at idle, it's barely noticeable, going through the gears, it has a very healthy muscle sound. on the road, it has a nice low rumble, this exhaust would please my grandma, all at a cost of $140. this makes me 300-400 smackurunnies ahead.

hmmmm you got me interested too. So this basically replaces the stock muffler. Is it loud inside the cab? Any drone?

There is nothing wrong with it. I've had it on my truck for a while and just want a different sound. Spintech has a great muffler and they're great to deal with but I get bored easily and always want to try new things.

the the noise at cruising speeds, is the most pleasing i have ever heard, it has just the right rumble, low and mellow, but the faster you go, the lower the rumble. at 65mph,the rumble is so pleasing, i turn off my radio, and i don't care what's playing. to make it short, this mufflers highway manners, will rate a A+++++++++ . there seems to be a little more power everywhere, more noticeable at highway speeds. my magnaflow tip(3 to 3.5) might amplify the sound perfectly. trust me guys, there is no negative suprises with this setup.

Rsmith... I told you you would like it... I am constantly getting compliments on mine. Now you understand just how mello I was trying to make it sound.. congrats and enjoy
sounds just like the 3 chamber 50 series flowmaster i got. i roll down the back window to listen to it. you have to turn the radio down to hear it at an idle and not to loud rolling. its just right. great pick up to.

What I had done, and I believe RSmith did as well was just cut off the old muffler, replaced with magnaflow 14586, kept all stock piping and had a magnaflow tip welded on. A quick word of advice.. if you like the look of chrome, do not go with the magnaflow stainless tip. It will kind of dull and have a slight yellow hue to it because it is stainless steel. But it will not rust like chrome. Its tick for tat... you get one and sacrafice the other. I like the idea of it not rusting.
PS: you can use some stainless steal polish or spray and it will get the shine back to it. Only thing is you may have to do it a couple times a month.

Sounds simple enough! I think I will order mine tommorrow I have the toyots tip on there now and I wish it was a bit longer so you would see the clamp. I might order an exhaust tip and weld it on too. Which model or size did you guys get?

The tip is part# 35113. The tip is 12 inches and pretty much goes all the way up to the bend. You can only see the weld if you try. They also have a 18in tip as well, That would make it very hard to see from behind

The stock pipe that exits out the rear is a 2.5" but it flares out to about 2.75? I may just hack off the flare and get the 2.5 ID so its tight on p
