This is a discussion thread titled "S/C Info, Help", within the Engine & Drivetrain forum, part of the Technical & Vehicle Assistance Forums category.
I need to know if a superhcarger that came off a 2002 model tundra will fit onto a 2004 model, both are access cabs. I dont see why they wont fit, should be same engine and same mounts. And what extra a needed with it. High Output fuel pump? Different Injectors, Spark Plugs? Any help is appreciated. Thanks

it will NOT work...unfortunately but for differen reasons they will not work one being 04 is a fly by throttle wire whereas 02 was direct cable throttle. if all you are doing is the s/c, all you need is new s/p's. ik22's they are one step colder than stock. i think i might know someone with a s/c for an 04. let me check. i'll post again or something.

You can use an '03 Supercharger. I installed one on my '04 D-cab. The only change is that you will have to go to an after market chip and dump the TRD ECU. It took me about 6 hrs. to install and I've put about 600 miles on mine with no problems.
