Default 2004 LSD fit a 2001?

Hello everyone,
I did a search and came up empty. Will a limited slip from a 2004 Tundra fit my 2001? Any difference in gear ratio? 2WD-2WD.
thank you

Yes it will fit-
You should be able to completely swap out the complete 3rd member

- Same rear end/ R& P size for all Tundras
As far as Gear Ratio - Should be 3.9X but
Best thing to do would be confirm your gear ratio
-I'm Not sure what year Tundras with v8/v6 were avail w/ what ratios

If the swap is going from 2wd to 2wd , matching gear ratios is not much of a concern since you don;t have to match fronts

Gear ratios could be a bit tricky even on a 2WD due to speedometer calibration issues. Unless Toyota sneaked in one I don't remember, I believe that '00 to '04 Tundra gear ratios have been as follows:
'00 to '04 Access Cab V8s: 3.91
'04 Double Cab V8: 4.10
'00 to '04 Automatic 4WD V6s: 4.30
All other '00 to '04 V6s: 4.10

Other than the automatic V6s, AFAIK the same ratio was used for 4WD and 2WD drive trucks of the same year and engine.

Thank you for the replies. It is appreciated. I picked it up off ebay. Rolled 2004 2wd Tundra AC w/ 35k miles.
Entire 3rd member for a little more than 200.00 and local. Can't beat that.
