Default Engine wont hold idle

i dumped my stock exhaust about 1/2" after the muffler..and since then it hasnt been running well at all..i went to run it in the dirt..and like..after that..it was idling in PARK and NEUTRAL at 2100..then DRIVE 3 and 2 and REVERSE were at 1200..then tonight im driving..pop on the freeway for like 3 exits...pull up to a light..and the rpms drop to like 400..and in neutral the engine wont hold an idle..it cuts out...

is this from a lack of backpressure?..or something else..need help fast..

this is a 2004 tacoma 2.7L 4 banger..

is this intake or exhaust related..mass airflow..o2 sensor stuff...

sounds almost like a vacuum leak on the engine...look around under the hood and see if you see any hoses off or that have chafed thru. either way it should have tripped the check engine light by now, if so go to autozone and get them to read the codes for you.
