that run sounded very nice, I like the second run cause it sounded like a more consisant rise than the first run!!!
on a side note, has anyone run the vvti 4.7L on the dyno with a before and after on the K&N... I would be curious to Know what difference the vvti makes with the HI-Flow type filters. I know that it didn't make any real power on the 03 and 04 tundras, but with vvti I would think it could make better power.

Did you regear for your tires or are they not any taller than stock? Although those numbers are pretty good I think it should put down a little more HP, somebody correct me if i'm wrong, torque was really good though.
nope never regeared.. no real need to, they aren't that much bigger overall from stock. I will post the curve once its updated.. crazy curve though due to auto tranny.
Given the 285/75's are 7.4% larger in diameter than the stock 265/70's. With the 7.4% added, stock tire should put out 250hp and 311lbtq, that's not including the weight consideration difference between the two sizes. Another thing, looks like you ran in 3rd, the 5spd auto's 1:1 ratio is 4th, unless you started in 2nd which would explain the 3 gears you truck went through. Have you put on any performance mods?

Granted the dyno didnt do such a great job reading.. got to love traction control. I am going to get it dynoed again in the near future, and hopefully it will be a better reading. Its better than nothing.

Good point. Also, a comparison to the non-vvti models accross the range would be nice to have, stock for stock.

Most of the driving is around 2k but all tq/hp nunbers are measrured at wide open throttle. I'd like to see the graph from 2k on also but I've noticed that when I floor my 4.7vvt-i the 5speed quickly shifts down to a gear so the rpm is above 4000rpm and from 4000 to 5400 rpm is where you get the most combined TQ and HP.The other day I was doing about 20mph and I floored it and the awesome 5 speed tranny shifted down 2 gears, 3rd to 1st and the engine was instantly at 4000rpm and I experienced and awesome rush of power. Amazing!
We usually do a group dyno once a month or so. 40 bucks for 2 runs with A/F.
I will take a look at the profile for you guys. Not sure why they cut off the rest of the run.. they ran it through 3 gears.
One thing to note. My next time I should put down better numbers. Just had the oil changed for the first time today since I bought the truck. With a fairly fresh oil change and next time some 91 octane, it should put down some better numbers.
