Transmission Compatibility

The out of warranty automatic transmission in my 2001 Tundra V8 SR5 2WD is on it's last leg.

I have a line on a very low mile trani out of a 2004 Tundra V8 SR5 2WD.

Are these transmissions Interchangeable without modification?

As far as the research I did, they should be the same. It's only the 2000 models that has a different part # than the 01-04 models, according to my local dealer. Also, the 4WD's are different than the 2WD but, you're replacing with another 2WD so, no worries.
