Default Cold air intake for 04 DC

I am hunting for a decent cold air intake for my DC. K&N says they dont make the FIPK for it but the do make the filter charger kit (lots more money) and the pictures are virtually identical to the FIPK for the 02 trucks. Any suggestions??

Thanks
mutt

Default Cold air intake

Hey there, I have a K&N drop in, in my 2000 SR5 V-8. just drill the front of the air box with some 5/32 holes in what ever pattern suits you, maybe 15-20. make sure that the holes are under where the filter goes in so the "fresh" air goes through the filter. Makes a nice growl under acceleration and you might even see a mpg improvement. Don't waste your money on a cold air kit. get some JBA's instead after the airfilter mod. I get a solid 20 mpg with my 2wd. CSM-H

PS I haven't put the headers on mine yet.
