Default Borla Best Price and Config?

Hi Folks:

New to the forum. Just got in on the group buy for the JBA Headers for my Tundra. Thinking this is a good time to do the exhausts as well.

I had a Borla on my RX-7 and liked it.

Would like to get the Borla system for my Tundra. What's the best source for these? Also, will the Duals substantially reduce the low end torque? I'd like to get the Dual side exits, but don't want to loose power? If the JBAs and Dual Borla are better then stock throughout the rpm range, but especially lower, I'll be happy with that.

Thanks,
Lee

I know everybody says the duals reduce low end torque but I really didn't notice a reductoin after I put my TRD duals on. Perhaps others are more sensitive.

I'm not sure how loud of an exhaust you are looking for but the Borla for the Tundra really isn't that loud. Borla tends to make more agressive sounding exhaust for sports cars. If you are looking for a louder cat back exhaust check out Bassani. The Borla sounds fairly similar to my TRD exhaust in both tone and loudness. The Borla is probably a slightly smoother and louder than my TRD. Check out my videos in my photo gallery to see what the TRD sounds like.

Lewis:

Thanks. May lean towards TRD, just because they are similar in price and from Toyota. Just need to know the warranty on TRD. I know Borla is pretty good from that standpoint. I'm not looking for "loud" just a little more rumble and some good looks.
