Default transmissions problems need help!

My tran will not shift into forth gear I think the over drive is out.
I have 34k on my 02 Tundra, and it has a 4.5 TC spindel lift w/ 285/75/16.
Dose having a lift and bigger tires void the warranty?

Some dealers may try to play that card, however most reasonable service writers will allow anything that has not been directly affected by your modifications. When my truck was lifted 3" with the stock suspension, one of my boots tore. The dealer replaced it free of charge with no questions.

I thought about that too . But in my case I had problems long before my suspension lift and even had a new tranny installed before my suspension lift. So I can take my paper work in as proof that the suspension lift had nothing to do with my tranny problems. I hope .

Under the Magnuson-Moss Act, a dealer must prove, not just vocalize, that aftermarket equipment caused the need for repairs before it can deny warranty coverage. If the dealer cannot prove such a claim — or it proffers a questionable explanation — it is your legal right to demand compliance with the warranty. The Federal Trade Commission administers the Magnuson-Moss Act and monitors compliance with warranty law.
