The '05 Tundra Repair Manual set consists of four volumes, with a total of approximately 5800 pages, of which nearly 3000 are concerned with diagnostics provided by the truck's computers! The manuals break down as follows:
VOL. 1: Maintenance, Preparation, Specifications, and Diagnostics pages DI-1 through DI-1475. (Publication No. RM1150U1)
VOL. 2: Diagnostics pages DI-1476 through DI-2943; Engine Mechanical for 1GR-FE engine; Engine Mechanical for the 2UZ-FE engine; Emission Control for the 1GR-FE; Emission Control for the 2UZ-FE. (Publication No. RM1150U2)
VOL. 3: Fuel Systems, Cooling Systems, Lubrication, Ignition, Starting, Charging, Clutch, Manual and Automatic Transmissions, Transfer Case, Propeller Shaft, Suspension and Axle; Brakes, Steering, Supplemental Restraint System, Body Electrical, Body, and Air Conditioning. (Publication No. RM1150U3)
VOL. 4: Electrical Wiring Diagrams for the 2005 Tundra (Publication No. EWD611U)
So the answer to your original question is that Volume 3 contains the stuff about the drive train following the engine, but the stuff about the engine itself is in Volume 2.
