Unhappy Rear Main Seal

I just had my 2004 4.7 V-8 Tundra serviced at 9500 miles, (not the first time).
I was told the rear main seal is leaking. I know it is covered under warranty but I am familiar with Chevy engines and when their rear main goes out, usually at high miles to to crank movement, just replacing the seal is a temporary fix, it will leak again because the crank bearings are worn.
I am concerned about the low miles and this leak and if some other steps should be taken sooner rather than later.
Respectfully:
John Mizer

I just had mine done a couple of months ago, the actual problem was that the seal retainer did not have enough sealant on it from the factory. Since they have to remove the retainer to fix it they install a new seal as they should. I don't think you have anything to worry about.

Thanks for the reasurance. I never considered a faulty installation.

I just did my 15K oil change on my 04 4.7 Tundra and also noticed leaking arount the vent hole in bottom of bellhousing which is directly below rear main seal. Kind of a bummer because i don't like half *** mechanics working on my vehicles and i know this won't end well(my luck). Will make the appointment tomorrow for a look see although the old spincter muscle is quivering! My truck is a 2WD, I wonder if the pan can be pulled without yanking the motor?? less obstructions than a 4WD....
