Thumbs up transmissions problems? CALL TOYOTA

MY transmission blew at 77,000 miles, 17k out of warranty. The transmission guy said mine was the third he had done in 2 weeks. I've seen this same problem with the weak transmission on this forum and others. Toyota says they don't hear about this problem but if they did, they would do something about it. So, even if you've had a blown transmission and had it repaired outside of warranty, Call Toyota to tell them. If they get enough complaints about it they might do something and keep the next person from having to pay $4k to have it fixed. Call this number: 800-331-4331 hit extension 5 and tell them all about it... PASS THIS ON! Let's get them to fix this problem!
