I want to point out, and I'm sure Rob will back this up. We can put any throttle body flange you like on the manifold. You can use the stock TB, Q45, Accufab, or Wilson.

Again, I want to thank Rob Welsh for agreeing to release this through www.boostedtundras.com. His shop is TOP notch, and I'm happy to provide this beautiful manifold to the community.

Guys, I want to stress that we are striving to remain legal in offering this manifold, as we don't want any trouble. As you can there was a lot of work with this manifold. This is why we are offering it ONLY through Mr. Rob Welsh from www.boostedtundras.com . Rob has been in this industry, and knows his way around the 2uz-fe inside and out.

Thanks guys, just wanted to put that out there.

Eric

We just sent a quick spec sheet to Rob Welsh.

...Six liter plenum volume

...Ported and polished intake runners

...Dual 3.5 inch plenum construction

...Rear equalizer tube, with ample vacuum ports, and brake booster port.

...IAC port, and stock throttle body flange come standard.

...Finishes include powder coating your choice or color, hand polished or chromed

We're going to put these manifolds on the flow bench to ensure that the runners are flowing evenly.

If you are going through all that trouble, you should redo the lower part where the injectors mount. It would be nice if that area could be enlarged so a wide range of aftermarket injectors would fit in that area. The skinny stock ones are about the only thing that fits.

Hi Gadget,

Rob had asked about that just the other day in fact. It would depend on the demand for it more than anything. We can make injector bosses to fit the lower manifold that would accept the domestic RC, Delphi, and Siemens injectors. They are MUCH more affordable than the Denso type. We've made fuel rail kits for other motor platforms, and really, it would be a snap to do the same for this manifold.

Here's an example of the injector bosses/ rail kit so everyone can know what we're talking about. Here is a Toyota 1jz-gte fitted with domestic Delphi injectors. Notice the aluminum injector bosses.

Any idea as to how much one of these little beasties is going to cost? Would this be worth doing to a almost stock 4.7? Right now mine is equiped with a CAT back and Unichip. In the "old days", many thousands of years ago...adding a performance intake to something like a stock 350 chevy was a big boost to HP, but it usually also included adding a better than stock carb, ignition, etc.

Once the flange is machined true, we're going to have the manifold flowed to ensure the runners are doing what they're supposed to do.

Cost is still being worked out since there are some options still being worked out. We're going to have a few options that will affect price. Powder Coat, Polishing, and Chroming will carry different prices. Rob will post prices soon once we have the details worked out.

The power differences all depend on the modications of the motor. If the motor is supercharged, then this manifold will free more horsepower than if the motor is running stock headers, and intake. What is for certain is that this manifold will flow more than the stock manifold ever will, and looks 100000% better.

Be sure to call Rob Welsh for availability, and to order.

Eric

But if you use the TRD blower...its a roots and it already replaces the intake Plenum...Unless SOS is still selling their procharger setup.
