This is a discussion thread titled "Borla Exhaust Leak help", within the Engine & Drivetrain forum, part of the Technical & Vehicle Assistance Forums category.
We just installed the Borla Dual side exiting Exhaust the other day. It sounds great! But one thing I noticed is that after the car rests for a short period of time, when I start it, there is a liquid leak coming from the connection of where the CAT meets the muffler inlet pipe on the drivers side. It'll leak for a few mins and then go away. Today I was able to put a cup underneath the leak to verify what it was and it turns out that its thin like water, but dark. And this only happens on the drivers side pipes. Any idea what this could be? I called Borla and they asked me that I first verify I had the right product from them. According to them, they only have 2 exhausts for the Sequoias, the single rear exit and the dual rear exit. I have the dual side exit. I sent them an email back and will probably hear from them tomorrow. They said they will be able to help me if its either of those 2 products, but the tech will see what he can do. FYI: I bought the exhaust from a Toyota dealership in NC. But what do you guys think this liquid could be coming from?

How much water is coming out? It could be just water from condensation you might have to double check the connection if it leaks water it will leak exhaust.
You have an exhaust leak there, it leaks the condensation that forms inside your exhaust, the condensation is normal but it's suppose to come out the outlet pipe as water or steam.
It does come out the exhaust pipe even as water as i depress on the pedal. So its nothing I should be concerned about?
