The fuel filter setup on my 01 looks very different than the pics in the haynes manual. It is a small black plastic box with two rather large hoses going in either side, attached with clamps. The under the fuel filter this is a metal arm attached to another little metal arm that appears to run into the firewall.
Is this my fuel filter?
How do i change the filter?
There doesnt appear to be in screws that open the plastic box...does it just pop open. Is it necessary to disconnect the hoses?

If a combo of all these whizz bangs met their claims you'd have to siphon gas out of your tank every second day and sell the excess horsepower on the third????
If your engine doesn't consume ANY oil it will seize???
Some people should not be allowed access to tools without books!!!

Any help would be as always apprecaited. Thanks.
I had to go out and look under my hood, based on your description you are looking at your heater control valve. When you turn your heater control to hot to cold that little arm moves controlling the amount of water flowing through your heater core.
