Question Brake pedal vibration or click only when engine is started 1st time

When I start my Tundra, put it in gear I hear/feel a slight vibration and click in the front only when i first start my truck and begin to drive . I can put it in and out of gear ,reverse and drive after the intial noise and it is fine. I was just wondering if there is anyone else with this noise.

patkatt...

ABS? If your truck has ABS that's a sound you'll hear. It is some kind of self diagnostic. Do a search on "ABS Noise" and see other threads regarding this startling sound.

If you do not have ABS then I'd be bit more concerned.

Aye, sounds like your ABS doing it's startup self-check. Happens every time you start the engine and switch out of park.

Like Joe said, if you don't have ABS, then I'd be more worried.

patkatt,
I have a 2002 Tundra and I have a very slight clunk feel to the brake pedal when I first start it and depress the brake pedal after putting the trans. in drive. I also have anti lock brakes. Is this similar to your sound.?
