Default By-pass filter

Anybody out there using an Amsoil dual remote by-pass filter?? I see lots of Amsoil users but no mention of a remote by-pass system anywhere.

I've used Amsoil or Mobil 1 synthetic for over 20 years but have never been able to use a by-pass system although I've wanted to try. Picking up a truck in the next few weeks and would like to start (after finding out what the recommended break in period is ...see my other post on syn oil) using a remote system.

I'm planning on using Mobil 1 10w-30 or one of the Amsoil oils ...10w-30 or 10w-40.

Anyone with any ideas on mounting remote system please give input.

Default Re: By-pass filter

The Amsoil remote by-pass filter is overkill.... just stick with Amsoil Series 2000 0W-30 oil and their new Ea line of filters. Ea-15 is an oversized filter that fits the V8 Tundra and Sequoia.
